Studio apartment available for short-term lease. Cute Studio house (approx 400 sq feet) is found in the daylight basement of a manor house, within walking distance of the Hult Center, downtown Eugene (1 mi) and the University of Oregon (1.5 mi). Facilities consist of personal restroom, queen bed, flat screen TV with Netflix, HuluPlus and DVD player (no network television stations, though), complimentary WiFi, iPad/iPhone/iPod docking station, brand-new Ikea performance kitchen with microwave, coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator and electric kettle (no stove). There is parking on the street side, nearby to the door that causes the apartment. Please note, the entrance to the apartment is a little rough (cement floors, some reusing storage) once downstairs the house is entirely upgraded. Owners live upstairs and are happy to provide info about events, transport, restaurants, and so on. You will enjoy this area-- it is centrally found, with restaurants, brew bars, parks, and terrific places to stroll. If you prefer to bike, the west Eugene Amazon bike course is just three blocks away, and there is easy gain access to away to anywhere in town by foot, bike, vehicle or public transportation. Please note: the entrance to the apartment is a little rough (cement floors, some reusing storage) but as soon as downstairs the apartment is totally updated. NOTE IF YOU ARE TALL: Ceilings are 6'8", but there are 3 beams that are 6', one between living space and cooking area, one between living-room and sleeping area, and one in the restroom.
